Nice but to much for a 5 year old car. I rather spend a few more bucks and get an 08

Get used to it!
Nice low mileage cars that are not modded are going to start bringing prim prices. The average S that is used as a daily driver will not do nearly as well when it comes to holding its value.
The next thing someone is going to post is that there are plenty of low mileage cares out there, do a search. That might be true in some areas but not mine!
If I wanted a red S and wasn't planning on daily driving it, I'd seriously consider that car. The age only hurts you when you are borrowing money on it and you were buying it for a toy, you shouldn't be buying it if you need to borrow money on it!
Another comment made on this subject was that in a few years model years won't mean much compared to mileage and condition, and that I truly agree with,

^i concur i would also consider that if i really wanted a mint nfr w/ low miles but i dont think i would pay more than 18k for it seeing that 18k can get me an 06 and 20k can get me an 07 nowadays.

that car is really in mint condition though i'm sure someone would buy it. better than someone trying to sell an 01 w/ like 8000 miles for 23k.

I agree. I don't think it is overpriced if the market can bring it. The mint, low mile, and especially unmodded / bone stock S2000s will start to bring a substantial premium. I was certainly willing to go that route on my 06.

Yep, I paid 18k for my 04 with 10k miles on it last year. In retrospect I could have saved money and got something with more miles on it, but it was an impulse buy on finding a low mile car like that.

I think the buy-it-now asking price is maybe a LITTLE high, but only a little.

There is nothing to get used to. Low mileage examples will always bring a bit more money than higher mileage options, but you're dabbling in a bit of wishful thinking if you believe the prices are going to start rising in the used market. They made thousands of s2000s each year. The care is not rare. Many people bought it as a second or third vehicle and/or weekend driver, so there are now, and will be for quite some time, many low mileage examples to choose from.
