Default Damn I have some dumb friends

I was chillin at my friend's house yesterday and I had to leave. They were hassling me because I had to go my g/f house and you know the usual they are saying me whip. One of my friend were messing around with me I thought and they touch my car. They know I don't let anyone touch my car because it black. I woke up this morning and wanted to get something out of my car and bam a bunch of swirl. It was all these swirl over a portion of my trunk. I called my friend about it and he all like I didn't know that dust can scratch the paint. I yelled at him and told him to forget about it. I have to get the car clayed anyways. Owell. Just have to tell you guys. Friend at the end are still you friends.

If you're that worried about it, you should have gotten a different color.

I don't think touching would cause swirl marks...unless they were like rubbing your car when its really dusty.

I haven't wash my car for 3 weeks and it dusty. I yelled and my friend and TOLD HIM TO FORGET ABOUT IT. Implying that I got over it but he has to understand why. Dust does scratch your car because my friend who own a body shop told me never to touch my car when there dust on there. Because it leave a film between the finger and the paint and the dust is like little pebbles which drag a long the paint. It made swirl because the scratch was a swirl motion. I don't choose my color for my conveniences I choose the color of my car because I like that color.

i had the same thing happen but worse! when we had the fires here in SO CALI, my friend wrote "F*** You" on my hood in the ash that was caused by the fire.

Now i have light surface scratches in the outline of "F*** You" from the hood latch to the windshield nozzles that i can still see after Scratch X and two coats of wax!!!

This weekend i'm pulling out the clay bar, scratch x, and zaino...hopefully i can get rid of the scratch marks

Back when I had my charcoal grey '93 240SX, I went down a dirt road one day on the way to work. A coworker thought it would be funny to write "CLEAN ME" on the top of the rear bumper. Well, it wasn't so funny. When I cleaned the car, the paint was scratched. The guy didn't mean to scratch my car. He was just ignorant about rubbed in dirt scratching paint. I don't know how, but he was. If it had been my S2000, my anger level would have been much higher. Don't lose a friendship over it, but your buddy definitely deserves a verbal flogging.

Yeah I get protective over my car too, but it's still just a car. You can always fix it or get a new one. I wouldn't lose a friend over it, but I would get mad and they will learn from their mistake. Then it will be forgotten.
