Daily duty
I've recently found myself in a quandary. I own a MY00 GPW and have for a number of years now. I absolutely love driving it, but it has just hit 120k. I have been driving my wife's old Elantra to work everyday for a few months now since I bought her a new CRV for her to daily. My problem is, I cant decide which vehicle to drive. On one hand, I hate putting miles on the S2000, but on the other hand, I hate driving such a blah car EVERY DAY to work. Shouldn't your daily commute be somewhat enjoyable? In a perfect world, I'd have something comfy AND fast to daily and possibly have my S2000 for weekends or to trade out with during the week, but I live in no such place because my salary doesnt allow for it. Does anyone else have this issue of punishing the S2000 and yourself for the whole week or am I just crazy?

Say your car will last 200k miles.
Do you guaranty yourself living that much ?
I think you'll be bored before the car is to be dumped.
Just drive it and enjoy while you can.

I owe money on the S2000, but I could pay it off easily if I sold the Hyundai which I own. I could then start saving for a newer, better daily. I'd be stuck with one car though and I like having that option to leave the S at home on rainy days.
