As an S2K novice, I've been looking for information on the car, and ran across a reference (probably on this forum) to Carney's 2001 book "Honda S2000", published by MBI Publishing. I just finished reading it, and can recommend it highly. Lots of information, presented in text, photos, and drawings. It's been a while since the book was mentioned here, so newer members may not be aware of it. There are several other sources cited on www.bookfinder.com. It's being offered as a "remainder", so may not be available much longer.
