Cutting the power stearing for HorsePower...
I was talking to my friend who has an Acura GS-R. He was telling me that we can cut our power stearing to gain around an extra 7HP across the board and also, of course, more feel to the road. Has anyone heard of this or tried it? He is doing it this weekend.
I tried the search and it didn't work...

s2000 has electric power steering - there is no mechanical connection to the engine. Therefore his advice is wrong for the s2k.
He is partically right for HIS car, which uses a power steering pump that is driven by the engine.

Not worth it. From what I gather, the S2000 has electrically assisted steering that only uses power when in use. I'd be surprised if any decent gains could be found by doing this.

E=Electronic P=Power S=Steering.
Theres even a little light on the dash that light during start-up thats yellow it says EPS.
Have you looked under the hood to check the level of your power steering fluid? Do you need a manual to realize that there is no power steering fluid reservoir?

What was real freaky (or just strange) was when one day when I shut the engine off and the EPS remained on for about 10-15 seconds for some reason. I actually had powered steering without the engine running and I'm sitting there turning the wheel back and forth thinking, "Wow, this is cool.".
