I was wondering if anybody thought of polished chrome roll hoops for our car. Probably a big job, but could our ho-hum hoops be replaced or covered like the above option for Miatas? Has anyone tried anything like this? Pics?

I don't know if it woukld even look good. Just curious.

 

Its been done - Ive seen the pics of a red 04 with chromed hoops.

I am in the process of sanding and painting my roll hoops as we speak. I am using mirrachrome paint and the result should look a lot like polished aluminum, at least that is my goal. Mabye so, mabye not.

Wow, there is a LOT going on with that car.

I am not sure all the things that are going on are good, but there is a LOT of it.

Good find, I do like the chromed roll-hoops.

 

Not my taste but I think the red S looks pretty clean at least. Are those chrome AP2 wheels?
