This poll is to determine the initial level of interest in this item.

I have for some time been considering manufacturing custom license plate frames. There has been some talk on the board of late regarding such items so I thought I'd find out or put the idea to bed permanently.

These kind of frames can be water or laser cut and made from a variety of materials. Plastic, stainless steel etc. The lettering would go along the bottom as it does in most other frames.

We could also do limited runs for clubs but individual custom plates would be impractical to manufacture.

I'm happy to get something going whereby part of the proceeds go to supporting the board, a form of extended sponsorship if you will (eg; if we go for the 'S2Ki.com' plates).

Weight saving is good ... I like plastic for a choice like that.

Re option 1: HandA-Accessories already have one of these in a chrome finish. (The S2000 is black, but I painted over mine with some red enamel paint.)

I think you'll get a lot of interest - especially if you can keep the cost below about $25, and offer a choice of letter coloring.

The others are chromed brass. I'd be more inclined to buy stainless.

How about anodized aluminium in a choice 50 different colours for $2

BTW, your sample frame is on it's way today. It's good for California and probably most other states and Canadian provinces with the exception of British Columbia. Why they can't standardize on a single registration sticker size and location is beyond me but there you have it.

S2Ki.com on SS would be best IMO.

BTW, I ordered a plain SS frame this morning. Earlier this week, I took delivery of a set of classic honda emblems from MG Racing.

One emblem will be mounted on my hondas2000accessories black front grill and the second will be mounted on the bottom of my plain SS frame at the rear

With Rick "S" emblems, these will be a sweet identification of Honda on the car
