Custom Exhaust
Hi, Im new to this site. I heard that I can go to a place to get a customed & wider piping to replace my entire exhaust system. I heard that every bend takes away 2-5 HP! So would you all recommend me getting a 3 inch wide straight piping for a single exhaust? I would throw on an Apexi muffler. Also, would I gain or lose HP if I converted my S2K from a dual to a single exhaust in this way?

if you can get someone to make you a mandrel bent 3 inch exhaust system then go for it. You will see good gains but only if you have a test pipe to go with it or else you'll probably end up loosing power.
single would be better due to less weight, and it will yield better results as far as gains go.

You don't need a 3" exhaust for a NA car, that is way too big and will be ungodly loud. A few bends won't hurt anything, just don't have it doing currly-Q's.

The exhaust that you are describing sounds like the one Cody offers. Check out the GB for the Lovefab 3" single with an Apexi muffler. It is just about as straight of a single as you can get, but I would only suggest it if your car is turbo or SC'd.

explain why it's to big. a 3 inch will show better gains then a 2.75inch(70mm) would.
