Custom Colored Car bras....Anyone have any experience/comments?
I was thinking of getting a bra for my car and came across this site:

What do you all think?

Those don't look as bad as I thought they would but seem a little pricey. If you do get one, make sure you're willing to keep your car clean and take it off EVERY time you wash your car. If you don't, dirt will get trapped and it will cause some nasty scratches. I had one on my daily driver for about 6 years, I kept my car clean and always took it off when I washed it and it did a good job of keeping the front of my car protected. But I've seen a lot of people who just wash their car with it on and let dirt build up. In that case, you're just doing more harm than good.

for $300-400 why dont you just enjoy the car as it is and get your front bumper resprayed in a couple of years.
....surely the whole point of a bra is that you're just protecting the paintwork for the next owner??

Actually, I just got it re-painted last month and I already have several chips to deal with so I was looking around for bras in general.....
I did come across the clear bras but I would have to touch up/repaint the bumper and fenders to even consider applying a clear bra; so Im not thinking that is currently feasible.
So originally, the thought of a bra for $100 or so was appealing. Now, in the process of lookin for that $100 'quick fix'. I came across that site with the colored bras. I thought it was interesting.
But I think at this point that I will go with:
http://www.autoanything.com/products/produ...&kc=ISE%2D04104
But Id still be curious to know whether anyone has actually did the colored bra thing...
