i am ordering the Cusco Hyper Single system today....my clutch is starting to slip so i should handle it soon....too much racing...on the streets....launching....heeltoe-ing...39000miles on it though....getting it installed whenever it arrives....check it out at takakaira.com.....was choosing from Star, Spoon, ACT, OS Giken....i thnk this clutch could handle the most horsepower out of them relative to price...... online pricing is 939 but the shop said they will get it cheaper for me last nite. cant wait to see how it feels....and how do you launch at 8000rpm? i launch around 5700~6000rpm...ive taken SVTs, cobras, other s2000s and occassionally race the old man with a porsche or a ferrari....just to see his car bone out thogh....the others....drivers were probably shEEty....dropping the clutch at 8000rpm is no good..thats unheard of....you would have to shift to second too early too and when the clutch finally catches, i'd be gone. .too much wheelspin..0~60 times would be so slow.....and i cant sidestep because of the rubber inserts so i just *pop* the clutch.....going into second just pump the clutch and shift....i used to grind doing that but practice makes perfect...no more grinding gears....and btw, i didnt get what you guys were talking about...in the other forums....about the 8000drop.

Cusco makes good clutches, you won't be disappointed by the performance of it ... Good choice, nevertheless! I would've come down to either the Spoon or Cusco one myself.
