Crower vs Toda
I am getting some mixed reviews on the valvesprings for my AP1. I have picked up the Brian Crower Stage 3 cams, valve springs and Ti retainers. I also have a set of TODA valvesprings, and looking to install either 1 or the other
I am being advised to use the TODA valve springs with this setup becuase apparently the Crower Valvesprings are prone/known to fail?

What cams are they using with the crower springs? I haven't read of such a case but maybe you can PM me a link to them. If it's a shop saying it...might just be to push a product so who knows.
Valve springs usually don't just break. Actually springs in general don't break. You have to go past the elasticity of the metal repeatedly (as the elasticity region gets lower at the same time) until it becomes so brittle it breaks. That can happen as well due to bad geometry of the cams and is usually the case.
BTW, Brian Crower and Crower are seperate companies.
