Default Created a S2000 Page

HI All,

I am not much of a web developer but created a quick and dirty S2000 page with Quotes, Pictures, Specs, etc. on the S2000 and then of course a link to S2ki. This is just something I put out in case I want to refer friends to information about my car.

Personally it gives me a rush everytime I read the quotes and then makes me go out and drive

The link is as follows:

Good job

Here are a few comments about your site. Note: Just my personal thoughts.

1. Lose the bight blue background. It is hard on my eyes. something more subdued.
2. Instead of a single long page, break it up into seperate pages. IE. Main, Photo, ect..
3. Photos: The full size photos are over-sized and distorted. Never size a photo larger then the native resolution.

I have noted your first two comments. However, as for #3, that was a mistake which is now fixed. The original size of the photos were 2048x1580 or 1600x1200. I then shrunk them all to 800x600 to be more web friendly. I originally forgot to change the html code which stated the size such as 1600x1200. Then meant it was taking 800x600 resolution photos and stretching them to 1600x1200 which is why they looked distorted.

Take another look at the photo gallery now. It will look much better.

As I said, I am not much of a web developer

Photo are now viewable. Much better.

As you said "I am not much of a web developer", this is why I made the comments I did. I am not a web developer either, but I know what I like and more so what I don't. It was just feedback. Normally when a new first time site gets posted there is no source for feedback. S2ki.com will give you more then you ever wanted

Stratocaster,

I did soften the view of the page. I changed it to a gray and made the headings dark blue which is much easier on the eyes. However, I am just going to leave it on one page. I do appreciate the feedback!

I added one more tweak that some will find annoying but I am leaving it there. The page now plays "I can't drive 55" when loaded.

I recommend turning your volume up before loading the page!

Ok I am done making changes. Made the following changes:

1) Added Streaming S2000 Video of me driving way too fast when you click on the picture at the top of the page
2) When the page load, it nows plays the sound of the S2000
3) The I can't drive 55 is now optional and can be played with a control panel on the page

I believe that should do it for my quick and dirty S2000 page
