Hey, Christy... Wow, you replaced your clutch and you hadn't even learned to drive a standard yet? I'm astonished. Why all the mods while you're in "learning" mode? Seriously, the stock clutch while perhaps not the most durable part of the car is a fairly forgiving learning environment, especially if you're thinking of modding down the road. Why'd you do these mods so early? Just curious.

My S 2000's garage mate is an 02 Tundra SR5 which I am almost as fanatic about, when I hit the remote to open the garage door I chant "I am not worthy" 3 times. I've also done a lot of the things in the aforementioned post. My neighbors think I've lost it.

This would have to be one of my major obsessions. I simply refuse to park between other cars.

I keep extensive records of everything I do to my S. For example I can tell you the date and mileage of every time I've cleaned the windshield or vacuumed the car. I can tell you exactly when I put 303 on the top and on the interior. Certainly every time I've washed and waxed the car.

I have a record of every gallon of gas I've put into the car and the receipt for every item purchased. I know the date and mileage of every time I've checked the oil, added oil or checked the tire pressure.

I've never driven the car in the rain, I refuse to take it out of the garage if the ground is wet. I don't know if the windshield wipers work, I've never used them.

I can't exactly say why I do this, but I've always been impressed by the extensive logs kept by the owners of exotics. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind I truly believe that in 25 years when I show my S at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Excellence my log and my records will help my stock, showroom condition, never been restored S2000 to win the "Best in Show" award.

With all of that, I drive the car hard and really enjoy driving it. The craziest thing I do is try to explain my contradictory behavior to my wife. The most unusual thing I do is try to explain to her that its not "just a car".
