Crazy Things You Have Done for Your S2000

* I did the same what-in-the-hail run home myself one day. More like an hour early.
* I look for a window seat at a restaurant to watch my car (some paranoia, mostly love)
* I drive a beater to work most days to avoid wear, tear and sun damage.
* I pay almost $500 a month for 7 years for a car I drive once or twice a week. Oh yea, insurance too.
* I take off my shoes when I drive stick shift to be more precise. Only problem is that it's nearly impossible to heel-toe without a struggle.
* I use the half used towel to clean my exhaust tip everytime I clean the windows. And from time to time I clean 4" or so into the pipe.
* I check my dipstick 3 or 4 times because I can't read it when the oil is fresh and clear.
* I put 303 protectant on everything black. The top, every piece of trim, even the plastic windshield base cover that is under the windshield wipers.

StormBringer.... Our bengal is the marble variety. She is very rambunctious, kinda like my the S2000. What type was/is yours? Also, isn't dax a Star Trek name? What are uber towels, where do you buy them? I'm considering that evian car washing thing that may be fun, just once of course.
Has anyone named their car? Mine is named SKY. Two reasons: 1. Suzuka blue like the sky 2. When the top is down, I'm under the blue sky.

Guys, great stories.
For me, the obsession is the weekly ritual of removing the cover and coils to check that my spark plugs are still snug (haven't getting TSB 42 done next week! ...

amateurs!!! I during an on coming hail storm, took my two mattreses and quilts from my two beds in my room and bungee tied them to the car as there were already two cars in the garage and I could not take it anywhere to shelter it.
my friend once on one of the "birthdays" of his car, he made a large cupcake and put a candle on it and lit it and I held it in front of the exhaust pipe and he reved it and the car blew the candle out. he is hard core.
