From the day they announced Spa Yellow Pearl as a color option, we were determined to buy one...
Six months before we bought her, we had our 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited partially painted Spa Yellow Pearl (original color Platinum Metallic) to match our future SYP S2K (Thanks to a hail storm that made it easy to decide on a re-color!)
The guys at Maaco thought we were insane and asked "Did you want an Xterra?" The paint job turned out lighter than our S, but its still unique. We get compliments all the time on the color - too bad Chrysler does not make the JGC in yellow...
- I use Evian for my windshield washer and engine coolant...
- I never move my car for an hour after I wash it for the last drops of water to dry...
- I put the cover on my car every night in my garage...
- I never drive it on the rain and I check for the weather report every time I take it for a drive...
- I never ever let anyone drive it...
- I once didn't talk to my girlfriend for a while for messing up my seat adjustments...
After working out, I use a full bath towel to cover the drivers seat to ensure less sweat gets on the red seats. The towel is red too.
To be technical it's easier for me to rap the towel on my shoulders and around my legs to get into the seat. I wonder if other's watching in the parking lot wonder why I'm putting on a cape.haha
