Default crashed s2k need help asap

ok so i have an 2001 s2000 and i hit someone then someone hit me the airbags blew out, now the motor wont start...theres no damage to motor it looks fine the core supports not touching the motor or anything nuthing got pushed against the motor. Now people have told me the the ecu needs to be reflashed in order to start is this true or is there something else wrong with it?

Your best bet is to use Alt + F4.

looks fine and 'is fine' are two different things, are you gonna drive around with a blown airbag if you get it to start? haha.

also ECU needing a reflash sounds unlikely. 2001MY don't have a programmable ECU which = not able to be reflashed.

ok well what could it be then? has anyone wrecked their car and had to reset something? would it be the srs unit needing to be reset? its not like the car is turning over but not starting, theres no noise or any clicking sound the dash lights turn on all power works thats why i thought maybe you have to reset something after the airbags blow out. i want to fix my car cause it olny has 26k miles on it.

if you have to reset something , try unplugging the battery.. that will reset everything.

I think the ecu kills the ignition and fuel when deploying the airbags. You probably have to do something about the ecu. Safety stuff to prevent fires or explosions.

This isn't s2000 specific, all modern cars have this. I am 99% sure this is your problem.

Power to the dash doesn't mean there's power everywhere. You could have broken/blown fuses in the impact, or damaged a relay, could be any number of things. Airbags don't deploy in mild accidents...you had a pretty good impact, no telling what may have been messed up.
