ouch, I hope insurance will help you out, what a horrible experience.
I haven't hurt my s in the garage yet, but I did drive my lowered Civic up and over ramps once, lol. We had to jack the car up to get them out....my husband still brings this up at every oil change.

Wow...We've all made stupid "Do'h" mistakes. I raised my wipers to clean my windshield. popped the hood and opened it up forgetting to put the wipers back down. Heard the most annoying sound of the paint on the edge of my hood being scrapped off by the wiper brackets. luckily it was at the edge and I cleaned it off and used some touch up paint. Not noticeable unless you look for it.

At the dealer, inside the garage i had stopped shut off the engine but forgot i left it in gear. The tech asked me to move it forward. I turned the engine on and the car lurched forward almost running the tech down. He had his back to the car, so he would have never seen it coming. Luckily the car only moved about a foot forward before stalling. God, you gotta love low torque...lol.
