I just noticed that I have what looks like a crack in my left front wheel! It looks like a hairline crack that starts at the base of a spoke and eminates down to the edge of the rim. Has anyone had this happen and did warranty cover it? Thanks for any info.

I had a cosmetic defect on the outer surface of the wheel that was replaced under warranty (after three visits ). Post a picture if you can.

did you try to clean it first? it could be a tar mark, some dirt, or a light scratch.

is the crack branching?

did you recently curb the tire? hit a major pothole? accident?

You could have a lawsuit in your hands if it's cracking. What if the crack spread while you were driving and the wheel exploded and caused you to go completly out of control....
