could use some help with this decision

Yeah I can see the z being a decent choice but if I'm not mistaken they are much more than the mustangs? Not a fan of the BMWs or the Camaro...that mustang is almost the perfect combination of price with function IMO

I've read most of your threads about this issue. First off, have you driven other s2000's? How do they feel shifting compared to yours? You live in central FL, why not take the car to LHT Performance and have them give it a look. They have worked on enough S2000's to know if there is a problem with yours or not. Second, has this put a sour taste in your mouth for the s2000? Ask yourself why you bought the car to begin with and if it's delivering on all aspects except for the transmission issue. Honestly, it's very hard to diagnose a problem like yours over the internet. The way you perceive the issue and how other perceive what you're telling them is two totally different things. I was hoping a fluid change would've helped. Call LHT and schedule an appointment. I'm sure they can help you out.

I've driven one other s2000 and did not feel in that car what I feel in my car...honestly I bought this car to having something fast and reliable that looks awesome as a daily driver....and it has delivered on that aside from this notchy transmission...what gets me the most about it is that while researching this car before buying it...all I read about was people glorifying this transmission for how smooth it was..so to get one and have this problem did kind of leave a sour taste in my mouth
You are right though, I really have nothing to lose by calling lht and seeing what they can do, maybe I'll call tomorrow and schedule an appointment....it hurts letting the car go so maybe that a sign that I shouldn't as well...it's just making me go broke lol
