Costs too much to run?

I think a set of rears is about 300 quid (uk) but you could go for avons which would work out under 200. Not sure what they're like though as i've never tried them.
I've not had mine very long but i am totally in love with it, i can't imagine owning another car now. If you drive sensibly you can get 27mpg on short journeys which isn't too bad (although you need to use super unleaded).
If you get one before 2006 it falls into the cheaper tax bracket of £260. The insurance is pretty hefty though, but shop around and you can usually get a good deal.
