Default cost to ship the S

i'm moving from florida to san diego, and i'm taking my car with me. does anyone know what is the approximate cost to ship a car from central florida to san diego? i've never shipped a car before, so are there anything that should be particular concern about? does anyone know a good carrier?

it would cost $905.00 door-to-door from Atlanta, GA to Canoga Park, CA using Auto Express Transport. they were pretty good and the driver a very nice guy. I would imagine from Florida it would cost a wee bit more.

call a moving company. It probably costs more but the car would be inside a trailer instead of outside.

I would guess about $1000 or so. My STi was around $1200 open trailer from Boston area to Las Vegas area. Door to door shipping.

I would agree with the drive option. I've gotten to drive x-country twice and it can be a very fun experience. I'd love to do it in the s2k (did it before I had one).

it would probably cost less too.

You'll have plenty of things to move, so just rent a Uhaul
