Convertible top/Driver Window Glitch...any recalls?
I know that has been discussed ad infinitum in other threads, but I'm looking for an update. Anyone heard of a recall to fix this bug? For those who have not experienced it, when you open the top, both windows are supposed to go down. There's a glitch in the window mechanism that doesn't lower the driver-side window. I know that many have had this fixed only to have the problem happen again. And again. And again.
Anyone aware of any Honda plans to correct this?

Only recall to date is the spark plug issue. I wish they'd do one on the window as well. Although it isn't a safety issue and the window does go down. Just not when you drop the top.

I have the problem and I havent had the dealer look at it. To tell you the truth, id rather not let them touch it and screw anything else up. All I do before I open the top is put the windows down first, and then open the convertable top....just make it a habit and you wont have that problem anymore...

You will have this issue if you roll down you window - not all the way - to smoke etc .....
If you take the window up and down (all the way) a couple of times, it will fix the issue.
There seems to be a memory kind of issue here - it almost remembers how "down" it went earlier ..... hmm that did not make too much sense ... but the solution works.
May be there is a sensor of some sort "pinch protection" almost.
Good luck. The Dealers are clueless anyway!

I sure wish somebody would open up a bad regulator and find out what the problem is.
Unfortunately, the Helm manual shows nothing more than a generic sensor built into the regulator unit.
