I have deal with jic since they open in the US, i never have any problem with it at all. maybe there is some kind of miss communication between you and ben? I have a few item return to them, but they take care of it right away for us. Maybe you can pm me, see i can patch thing up between you and ben from JIC, i know him personaly, never had any issue with him

 

Cool! Cuz mine are for sale! $1500. If you come to SoCal, I'll install them for you. As far as I know, everything is working fine on them. They have been modified for track use - higher spring rates, higher N2 pressure, shortened shock bodies, and I've actually set them up properly, so that will save you a few months of tinkering.

Loi, you're welcome to try. I am a very patient person. I rarely get into arguments with anyone. Ben has repeatedly done this to me now. If he's your friend, ask him if all this was worth it to him over a $10 exhaust band. I'm surprised you've had such good experiences with them because all the parts venders I know have been closing their accounts with Ziel because their customers have had similar experiences to mine.

 

maybe i'm lucky, i never had issue with them. i deal with ben for a while and john the ower before ben work there. I sold a lot of jic products, never had any issue with there customer service. let me talk to ben tomorrow see what i can do to help you guys out. I want to made this clear, i'm here try to defend Jic-magic, i'm here to stated my experiece with them that's all

 

Rev, I remember reading about the 2nd failure when it happened. I swore off JIC and Ziel then.

I've got a Cracked braket on a Toda header that Toda Japan won't repair either. The header bracket's been broken for longer than it was attached at this point. Toda wanted to blame my SC for the failure, because mine was the 1st. Since then 3 other Toda header's on NA car have broken. AKH was fine to deal with, except for not replacing the header. Toda Japan didn't want anyone else to weld it because the tubes are so thin you can easily blow a hole through it welding the bracket back on.

Sorry Ziel, JIC, AKH, Toda. You get no more of my $$$$$$$$.

Sorry to hear about that Rev. I wonder if you are having so much trouble with Zeal because you are dealing with them directly (as opposed to letting a middle man deal with them for you). I haven't had any problems with my JIC coilovers (since I got the preload right), but I had a friend that had the full Ti JIC exhaust fail 3 times. His distributor replaced the entire exhaust each time with new "updated" versions under warranty. Good luck!

I had problems with him as well.
Never reason for why they do things the way they do. It just is.
" Ben, so why cant they rebuild my dampers. Because, they cant. "
The thing is, the dampers leaked by my own fault, but I still dont see why they cant be fixed. I did not want to argue so I said no thanks to your products ever again. He wanted me to pay over 1000 for new ones instead of fixing them after paying 1500 for the set that was 1,000 miles old.

The best part is after I send them my dampers Ben first says he will pay to ship them back. That was untill I said I was not going to buy their dampers, then the story changes and he needs my credit card.

One more thing I should add is that from the beginning with Ben, he always made it seem that the dampers could not be fixed. I told him they were leaking and the first thing out of his mouth was: " The worst case you would just need to buy new ones."
Why? I thought these thing where rebuildable

I will never buy JIC again.

 

Might want to make it very clear, is it Ziel or Zeal ... Both are somewhat different. I keep seeing these 2 all over the whole thread repeated (Maybe because of the old cut n' paste information) and I'm sure if you want to make your statement against a manufacturer/supplier/distributor ... You need to make it accurately correct.

 

I'm going to have to report you to the Department of Redundancy Department.
