It is not really that easy.. I have only seen two home made covers, one that looked so bad I would not put it in anybodys car, and one that took so much effort and time it would be cheaper to pay Rick a premium. Do you have a home made cover?

Sent pm a few days ago, still waiting on a response....
BTW, first shift boot has been made and test fit. A test interior is going in a car tomorrow with CF and regular pattern material stitched in red. I'll make sure to post up pics when it's done.

I'd like to see pics of the carbon fiber vinyl. I have never heard of such a thing and am curious how it looks. If it looks good I might be interested, I already have a black leather one but would probably ebay it or something if the CF looks that much better.

I had a test car come by today to get all the new stuff on. New on the lineup are JPM shift boots, AP2 console skins, stitched console covers, and door panel inserts. I wanted to showcase the new carbon fiber weave without making everything carbon fiber and keeping it tasteful. With some red stitching to tie it all in, I think it turned out ok. The new stitched console covers still need a little tweaking to get them to lay a little tighter but, over all, it turned out great seeing as how all of this represents the very first of these peices I have ever made of the kind. I also had a crash course on how to use a sewing machine friday night . Anyway, here is the final result:
JPM CF shift boot:
JPM AP2 console skin:
JPM stitched console cover:
Notice how the strip of CF flows evenly with the aluminum accents from the console:
JPM door panel inserts:
The next product to be offered by Kinetic Autosports will be the shift boot. Depending on how much interest there is for the rest will determine if the other stuff will be made. There's still a good bit of pattern work to be done with the stitched console. The fit is still not 100% yet so that won't be offered until it is. Remember that these are all one off prototypes and all hand made so everything will fit better once the process is refined.
