Default Confirmed: Glass rear window an option!

I now have absolute confirmation that Honda will offer the glass rear window as an option for all models years of the Honda S2000. Older models will require an additional install kit.

Price is a bit steep at about $3500, but it comes with a free hardtop

Gotcha! Serves you all right for not voting for another forum for BS rumours!

Now, how many posts do you think it will take for this thread to turn into another "I heard there's going to be a glass rear window in 2002" rumour thread?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I get so tired of hearing people whine about not having a glass rear window. If you want a glass rear window, buy a sedan.

I respectfully disagree. I think a rear glass window is a valid desire when you _have_ to have the top up. I think my visability would have been much better last night in the monsoon we had here, especially when backing up!

There are many vinyl cleaners and polishes which make the rear window as clear as glass, without the weight.

Like what? Plexus doesn't seem to do anything at all for me.

I've found very mild soap, a good rinse and chamois, followed by a generous amount of plexus keeps my rear (window) crystal clear.
