Default Condensation in Taillight...

I noticed over the weekend that my passenger side taillight had some condensation in it. I have had the car 3+ years and this has never happened before, and I have never done anything to them except change burned out bulbs. Would this be covered under warranty?

TIA for any info

did you change the bulbs yourself?

if so then they may void the warranty or that particular item

I changed one bulb in it. The brake light one. I wouldn't think that would void the warranty.

My car has under 300 mi on it. Brand new. I washed it once and water got in both tail lights. I'd rather not take it to the dealer. What's the fix? Anybody know?

Thanks.

its under warranty, what could they possibly screw up re-sealing the tail light?

I think all years have this problem. I have it on my right side too.

Just get some silicone sealant (clear) or black. UN bolt the housing, and put it on. It's not brain surgery.

That is if, they dont cover it.

There is a foam gasket between the light and the body. If this is torn or missing, water will get in.

I got both of my taillights replaced under warrenty because of condensation, the right one I saw condensation and the left one I didn't before the "fix". Now my left taillight has condensation and the right one doesn't. The condensation is worse than before and the dealer won't do anything because my warrenty is up despite the fact that their repair was faulty. On top of that, I have dust inside my taillights after they were replaced.
