Comptech Sway Bars
Hello,
It seems the Comptech Sway Bars are very well priced, at about $350-400 for both front and rear. This is not the adjustable competition front sway bar. I was wondering if anyone had this sway bar upgrade? How much thicker is it? Do they compare to either Spoon or Cusco styles? Worth it? For the price it seems very good, but I can't seem to find specs on them. Thanks a lot!

I have the adjustable up front and bought the non-adjustablerear as well. The front is beyond awesome, but the rear gave me fits. It helped keep the rear from having any roll, but when I was autoxing or on a road course, I found out what SNAP OVERSTEER was. I went back to the stock rear bar. It may be different with the non-adjustable front.

Snap oversteer is when you are going around a corner and you get very little if ANY feeling that the back is coming around before it does. I ended up driving slower on course because I began to wait for it to happen. Going back to the stock bar was the best thing I could have done with the adj. front. Without the adj. front, I think the two from Comptech work in unison. I doubt you will have the same problem.

How does the adj. front effect daily driving?
More tire wear? Stiffer ride?
