Add my name to the cracked bracket list. My front plate and VTEC bracket both cracked. I noticed it about a month ago. I got replacements but they are no different than the ones they replaced. I'll be contacting Comptech about the "updated" ones very soon.

At last a worthy photo! Your crack is propagating through the bolt through hole. One of three possible root causes:
1) Hole location is out of position (design or machine error)
2) Hole location is undersized
3) In adequate edge break on the hole
