Default comptech intake?

So Im planning to get the comptech intake, and after reading a few posts from 2003/2004 I noticed that a lot of people had problems with some vibration with the intake, I was wondering since Im new to the S2K community if Comptech has upgraded their airbox recently to address this issue.

thanks

Vibration complaints were probably from poor installation. There is one button from the insulation mat that will come in contact with the cf lid. Either shave it down or make sure the air box sits lower. Also use plumbers tape or thread locker to secure the screws on the lid. They have a tendancy to vibrate loose.
