comptech CAI
For those of us who want a better filter. I just replaced the filter on my comptech ice box, with a "AFE" 24-55505 cotton gauze type air filter. this is the correct size. you must fit it on all the way up against the inside of the box then hold it, and tighten up the hose clamp with care. too tight and it will back off the intake tube, and come loose. wipe the inside of the filter where is clamps on of any oil also helps. If it comes loose then apply a thin coat of "RTV" sealant on the inside of the clamping surface, block it up tight and let sit overnight. this worked for me last time I got the wrong size filter. and
theres no difference in flow compared to the old foam filter that I can tell. just a way better filter. it cost $55 delivered.

24-55507 is actually what most people are using, it is a bit larger of a filter.
$43 shipped is the best price I've found so far.
