Yellow was out for me in Spain, as it's bad luck for an artist to have anything to do with that color. Aparently a famous Spanish actor died on stage wearing yellow!
White or grey? Too common here. Black? In a country that is basically a desert! No thanks!! That left RED.
Blue has since come out here (saw one the other day), but I already had a blue Jag (XK150) & a Volvo S1800 2 seater in blue...not to mention a blue Ford Escort!
Ya gotta be a bit of the showy type to sit in a red S2000. No shy ones allowed. Strangely enough, the Honda red is exactly the same red as my Ford Sierra 4 x 4.

I think the ambient light makes a difference - yellow & red seem to look best in Californian sunlight!
Over here, yellow blows your retinas against the usual grey gloom. Grey is camouflaged, although it shows the subtle lines best in brighter conditions.
Having said that, Black (when clean)also shows the subltety of the styling, & looks really mean!
It has to be black!
