let me clarify more... he's a suitemate, more of an aqaintance than a friend. he was not drunk, he was just being dumb. from what i can tell they don't have a WHOLE lot of money. he just drives an old ranger. real country kid. if he had of been on an uphill and like "rolled back" or something on accident, i wouldn't have been that upset. but who screws around on the road putting their car in reverse to screw with someone? they deserve to pay. as far as everything else goes college has been pretty good car wise, although i'm currently looking for a beater to drive. the s kinda sits there and doesn't get to see the road that much anyways.

I don't think this is "college and s2k's don't mix", I think this is "college and stupid friends don't mix". I was expecting a story of how a frat stole your car and turned it into a giant beer bong.

I just graduated and I wish I had this car when I was at school. Driving around Blacksburg with the top down is pure heaven. Couldn't afford anything like this until I had a job...

haha yea, the girls do love it, guess that overweighs the rest. just be careful is the big thing. at clemson there is actually a row of s2000's in the parking lot my friend said. i wanna go do their auto x sometime soon

If this guy doesn't have alot of money, you shouldn't make him pay for something you're not going to have done. Either forget it happened since it's not a big deal apparently, or if you take the money, then have the repair done. He may have been an idiot to back into you, but you're not doing anything smarter by ripping him the few hundred bucks and blowing it on a mod instead of fixing your car.
