Cold starts in winter...
The other night I was letting my car warm up since it was around 40*. I decided I would go back inside and let the car warm up. I thought I had the car in neutral, but it was in first....when I let of the clutch I did a 2000 RPM launch. The car didn't stall or shake or anything, it took off. I quickly put the clutch back in with out hitting any thing, but it could have been a lot worse. I have never noticed this on my other cars, but you can't kill the S when it is warming up. I think mine turns around 2k at idle when warming up. Is this normal?

2000 RPM is exactly what mine goes to when cold (really cold even) as well. It seems to be what the ECU thinks is the proper warm-up RPM, and in fact my other Honda (Integra) does pretty much the same thing. Perfectly normal.
