You must be really bored. Thank you for picking apart everything I have said without really comprehending it.
I call it rev matching more while I am down shifting, not so much when I am up shifting. Yes I rev match when I down shift. If I shift fast enough while up shifting, the revs do not fall too far. So I suppose that is rev matching, too. If I am just cruising around town, then I do wait for the rpm's to drop, so there again I am rev matching. You can either wait for the rpm's to drop, or shift fast enough while the rpm's are still high enough for the next gear.
I never said anything about the clutch not being pressed all the way to the floor.
I DO use the clutch. Did I ever say I didn't? BTW, have you ever tried this? If you rev match, it's actually quite easy to do. (I've only done it once, because a friend said he had done it.)
I guess I'm bored, too.

Rev matching has nothing to do with the fact that this car requires that the clutch be pressed in ALL the way whether you are changing up or down through the gears.

If you try to shift without disengaging the clutch in this car, you won't have a transmission anymore.
I guess I'm bored, too.
