As for commenting on your driving technique, unless I'm sitting there watching you, it's all guesswork. Try to seek out an experienced S2000 driver in your area and take him for a ride.

Thats exactly what happened. How much and where do I get the parts? Could I have this done at a Honda dealer or what do you recomend? I am not sure what I install involves so I am assuming that its to hard for me to do. Also what is the effect after the install? Do the RPMs fall faster or does the clutch engage when you actually let your foot off the pedal?

Yes you can swap out the clutch delay valve. Kitwetzler has done this. I have a MY00-03 CDV I just haven't had time to do the swap yet. I know that there is definate slippage at high RPMS if you come on the gas too soon because of the CDV.
Errr sorry scratch that I have a MY00-03 slave cylinder which does not have the CDV. The MY04 slave valve does have the CDV.

for which the MY04 clutch slave or the MY00-03. For MY04 I'm always above 6500RPMS if I shift at red hard. Haven't installed the MY00-03 one yet...have to finish thesis related work first
