Clutch Odor....??

Get a new dealer or take it to an independent mechanic you trust.

How are clutches more sensitive in one area and not another?

Progressive clutch. Only a small percentage of the disk is engaged at 1/2 half pedal travel. The S2000 clutch is not an on/off switch.
