clutch help!
Hello guys/gals,
My 1st post, I dont own a S2000 but my mother does(cool huh, and yeah she can dog it) well it has 70K on it now (silver 00' S2k) and sometimes when I take it out on the town Ive noticed the clutch will slip if the engine is revved into the 7K range. I dont frequent this forum as its not my car but ive owned a 97 GSR in the past umong other cars and im not new to honda motor or working on them. I was hoping to get some insight on a good quality clutch, but not something that she wont want like a stage race clutch. Is stock replacement the way to go or is there something else out there thats a little more beefy? And what webpages have it?
Thanks in advance, everyone here posts very informative information and Im sure you all can help me. Thanks again.

Heh, the S2k is a much different beast than any other honda. Your inquisitive nature about the car is healthy, so the best thing you should do is get the helm's manual to start. There's a lot of unique things about this car you might not know.
As for your question, it needs to go into S2000talk, as you're making a product inquiry. Moving there now.

Thanks and ouch $900 for the comptech upgrade. No thanks, the car is stock besides a comptech drop-in filter, so Im guessing a stock OEM clutch kit will do. Any cheap cheap sites that have the OEM kits??
