Unhappy Clutch,Flywheel,Help?

Hello everyone. I am getting ready to put a new engine in my 01 S2000. I was wondering what a good clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate would be to put in. I was looking middle of the road, better than stock. I was wanting to spend around $1000. I need to know quick because I am taking it to the shop this week and they said they would not charge me any extra labor to put the new gear on. So what do I buy?

Thanks,

Corey

Hardtopguy's clutch kit comes in at under $1k and includes: OEM friction disc, ACT pressure plate, Comptech flywheel and OEM bearings. I'm running that setup and would buy it again without hesitation. Check out www.hardtopguy.com.

I have heard nothing but positive feedbacks about that setup, when my stock clutch gives out(hopefully not jinxing myself) I'll go with that setup....

I am really happy with my setup. Toda Flywheel + ACT Clutch kit It will be around $1100. I think Comptech is a little biy lighter but it tends to break down easier since it is a two-piece. (what I have been told when I was trying to decide with my flywheel)

I'm running a fidanza aluminum flywheel, oem friction disc, and resurfaced OEM pressure plate...all is well in my book, but I'm about to have to beef up the clutch when the turbo comes in.
