Default Clutch buzz

Ok so i have had my MY01 AP1 for almost 4 years now and i cant stand the clutch buzz any longer. This is a question for all you AP1 guys.

I want a new aftermarket clutch/flywheel combo. The oem clutch slips all the time and has the "clutch buzz" deal. What aftermarket clutch did u guys go with to fix this problem. How is the feel of the clutch? Is it an on/off feeling or can you feather it much?

Or does every aftermarket clutch rid our cars of the horid "clutch buzz" and i just have to pick one?

Thanks

Chris

i've heard the act pressure plate, and oem disk setup that HTG sells is great. I personally went with competition stage 2 because I couldn't pass up the deal I got. comp. has a REALLY light clutch, but I love it now! it grabs hard too. no clutch buzz that I notice... of course I didn't really have it to begin with. i've heard with the act setup it still feels oem but grabs hard as well. not sure about clutch buzz.

Not an aftermarket clutch, but when I couldn't stand the buzz in my '00 any longer, I bought a new OEM disk from Hardtopguy. I've been quite happy with the results.

It does make the car sound like a Yugo or some other POS, doesn't it?

Just out of curiousity, have you tried calling honda and ask for goodwill consideration (let's say your off the warranty by time but not by mileage). You think it's possible to get it replaced?

Im in the same situation as you with my AP1 (74 000 km)
