Clifford Matrix Alarm.. Is it any good???
Ok, thinking about a Clifford Matrix RS 2.5x alarm system... Is it any good, or is it junk??
It has the pager, where if anyone touches the car, and a warning goes off, it pages you...
Anyone with experience with this alarm, I would greatly appreciate your feedback..
Thanks

i run that same alarm, bro, and so far i've been VERY impressed. one improvement that the compustar has on it is its distance. the clifford goes 1/4 mile while the compustar says it goes over a mile.
it has a TON of options and i love the remote. yeah. there's only one in the kit, but you can buy a companion remote (not a pager type) for about another $50. i didn't bother since my wife rarely drives the car.
i also had them install a motion sensor so, if i decide to make a quick trip in the store, i can leave my top down and the alarm will go off if someone reaches in. it's also connected into the pager so i get the warning.
i had them install the motion sensor iin the secret compartment since it's hidden there, easy to change the settings, and also fairly centered in the car so it will work from all angles properly.
it was $505.50 installed with all that. w/o the sensor, it would have been $399 plus tax installed.
here's some more info:
