I get this same sound from my '02. It comes from the rear, occurs following cold starts, and can be heard when I'm just starting to drive in 1st gear or going over speed bumps. Once the car is warm, though, the clicking no longer happens at all. Mine has been this way for as long as I remember.

A single click or two...and you're likely talking about the spindle nut. Even when Honda over-torques these puppies folks sometimes get the click. Greasing the spindle real well & then applying a new spindle nut is the best way to eliminate the spindle nut as a possibility.

Now...as for that TC or yours and what it might be doing to your diff...

I had that problem also.I took it to the service and they tightened the rear right wheel or something, I don't know because I wasn't watching and it stopped, and after two months I felt it again but but a little compared to the first time .Got a spindle nut and I went to the service but they didn't have a torque wrench with 220 lb and I took it to Mercedes service they had that kind of wrench we tightened it and now its worse than ever. When I start I think that my wheel is braking. We didn't put grease when we did it and I don't know what to do?

I had that problem and took it to Honda. The guy came back and told me that my Diff was F&^*(ed. The cost was $4500 USD (around). I was like AGhhhhhh! Luckily the warranty took care of it.
