Cleared Headlights & Black Painted Housing?
Ok all...I am going to be clearing my Headlight Housings with Ricks Smoked Diffusers in the next two weeks. While I am have the housing's cracked I was thinking about painting them black. I am leave the stock bulb in because in Texas it's legal.
I'd like to see pics of painted headlight housings if possible on Berlina (since this is what I got).
I'd also like to know how I could go about doing this, any tips anyone has on doing this, and what kind of paint should be used.
All comments are appreciated. I think it'd look awesome with the Berlina, but I'll only do it if I am confident I won't screw it up...

you first heat up the glue by putting the headlights in the oven at 350 degrees for like 5 minutes...then while its warm start peeling the glue and slowly pull the lense apart....(use flathead if needed)...
sand down the original black and then primer the area....then use engine high temp paint (dupicolor).....spray and let dry....then reverse the process to put it back together....
i've never done it on s2k headlights but i'm guessing the process would be similar to people doing other lights...
******use extreme caution and good luck!******

225F - 250F degrees for 15-20 minutes, and don't even think about using any sharp tools. PM me if you have specific questions. If you search, I've posted lots of stuff about how to do it.
Search for pics of Pierceman's ride, Matt has the only black painted inserts.
Good luck!!!
