Default clear bra question!

I'm in the market to buy and professionally install clear bra on my S. I searched and read a lot of threads/forums but they were outdated...

so i was wondering:

whats a good price on clear bra purchase+install...
anyone have recently/within a year purchased one?

and which parts were they covered for? the front bumper is a must but i want to get the entire hood and front fenders done...

any help would be appreciated~

thx!

I believe there are two kits from 3M for our S2000s.
One is for the front bumper, and the other one was for the hood and side mirrors, etc.
Each kit including installation was around $500.
Pretty expensive, eh?

But when I saw my buddy getting his Exige S from the dealer, they installed a "starshield" (which is basically a clear bra) and I've talked to the installer about our S.
They're called Venture Shield, and he said he could do the whole front end(bumper, hood) and side mirrors for $675 installed.

Just to let you know, I haven't seen a kit where they cover the WHOLE hood.
It only covers about 1/3 - 1/2 of it.
Good luck.

2 options from the 3M library, 18" and 24" up the hood. got mine done in Hilton Head for $600. Included bumper, fender, 24" up hood and fender, and mirrors. added headlights for $50 and applied them myself. well worth the money.

wow.. you guys paid great prices!

here in northern VA, shops are charging $750-$1,000 for the front end (bumper, 18" hood, fender, mirror)... for the entire hood and front fender... $1,500-$2,000

and one of the guys told me that a new kit is coming out that covers the entire hood and front fender with out cut off or lines (unlike the one offered now...)

im thinking about just getting the bumper for now and getting that kit when it comes out next year (supposely)
