Citgo

The increase of ethanol in gas has to do with the elimination of MTBE. MTBE is an additive that decreases the omissions from gas engines. There was a 60-Minutes type expo several years ago that showed it contaminated our water sources. Many states have outlawed its use and hence the need for ethanol.

I use nothing but Shell 93 Octane (V-power) in my S2000. All fuel in VA now contains up to 10% ethanol. A couple years ago only the major cities had E10...now it's all you can find I definitely get less MPG on it and don't want to leave an engine sit with it too long as ethanol attracts corrosion.

Again, allow me to echo what's already been said. DO NOT buy Citgo gasoline!
I'd also suggest not buying Luk-Oil (which may only be in the northeast, not sure). That would be the state owned gas company of Russia. And we all see how well our relationship with them is these days...
10% ethanol in our fuel is complete bullsh*t, along with all talk of anything ethanol related. My older MY1992 Integra's mileage definitely suffers from using it
At least here on the East Coast I have 93 octane to use

Little known fact.
It takes more petroleum fuel to manufacture the ethanol that is added to our gasoline than that 10% ethanol actually saves.
Our government has not been known for it's brilliant ideas in this century. Go figure.

OK, I'll stop using Citgo regardless. Haven't checked if there is a station with another brand that has non ethanol and is still pumping pure gasoline. I'm thinking that this may be a state-wide mandate and will have to live with the change. Hope not.

ethanol / alcohol is very corrosive to bare metal parts.

There's only one station around here that I know of that carries 100% gasoline. I try to get it there if I can. The whole "let's use ethanol to save the environment" bs could only be thought up by an idiotic politician. When it takes more gas (or diesel) to make than it saves.
