Default Check Engine Light???????

My car has 5100 miles on it and I was driving to work this morning and the check engine light came on? I stopped and checked the gas cap, and sure enough, some how it was loose. At least it became lose while driving because I always tighten the sucker. I tightened it up, but 12 hours later the light is still on all the way home from work. What can be the problem? Any suggestions???

Isn't there a reset? I seem to remember coming across the rest when reading my manual. I'm at work and can't check it for you.

Depending on how Honda programmed the ECU, the CEL will either need to be reset by your dealer or it will go out by itself after a certain number of start cycles without the fault recurring (usually around 10 for most manufacturers.)
