Front strut tower bar = no difference that I felt.

Spoon front lower cross bar = noticeable difference.

I think my next chassis mod will be the cusco subframe bars. I heard they help out alot.

My 06 was quicker/faster than the CR to begin with, and I think this has been shown in the published tests as well. The added bracing, in my opinion, improves handling over the stock set up by a significant amount.

Where are you basing your information off of? Published tests as in 0-60 and 1/4 mile times from magazines? There are a lot of variables you need to take into consideration when looking at specs like these. Driver being one of them.

If you have driven a CR and your 06 back to back on the track or drag strip, then let me know.

Otherwise I'm going to call BS on this.

Few people have found chassis bracing to be of any benefit on the track or autox. This topic has been beaten to death.

I have X brace (didn't do much to make the car faster, but does give the driver more feedback then before it was installed), Front STB (I dont think it did anything, but it looks nice ), Comptech Lower Tie Bar, and ASM floor bars.

Honostly I think the rear end loses grip faster than before, but is easier to control (more predictable) than without the mods. Or it could just give me more confidence so I push it harder than I did before.

I am happy with the mods and the feel of the car fits my driving style, though I dont think its better for everyone.

I've driven both, but not on a track so it's subjective. The published results seem consistent - the CR is slower.

you make no sense how whould a car that has a supperior suspension, and is lighter be slower then a stock S

the cr and the reg s are the same car, the cr has upgraded suspension parts and is lighter, ie it is faster

iv watched car and drivers tv show and they did alot of tests with the new cr, and it was a good deal faster in every way compared to the stock S, it was even faster then the porsce boxter s also

I understand your points - less weight with the same engine should equate faster acceleration. The CR I drove was faster in lap times than my stock 06, and that's what led me to upgrade to the CR suspension components. However, it did not seem faster off the line. Does anyone have some head-to-head 0-60 times with the same driver?

Like I said earlier, 0.2 seconds and 0.4 seconds can be due to different driver, weather conditions, etc...
