Default Chassis Bracing

Asked this in the Racing and Competition forum, but didn't get any responses so far. Since I'm asking mostly for street purposes, I thought I'd post this here as well:

With a somewhat limited budget in my mind, what's the consensus on chassis bracing for autocross/spirited street driving? What combination of parts do most people here run? Like I said, I'm on a limited budget and I want to maximize performance/dollar. Thanks!

I added a Spoon rear brace and a full Cusco front (upper & lower) system. The effect was predictable in terms of roll and turn in but not so dramatic as to suggest it was taken to a new level. However, after later adding CR shocks and sway bars, I think I lucked into a really great set up as the car handles better than a stock CR and is bit quicker from 0-60 and in the quarter mile. All-in-all (including professional installations), it set me back about $2,600.

I highly doubt adding a rear brace, cusco pieces, cr shocks and sway bar improved your 0-60 and 1/4 mile

He said handles better then a stock cr AND is a bit faster in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 THEN the cr.

Maybe I'm missing something...

for what reason does his car perform better THAN the cr?

if you're doing spirited street driving then i'd suggest a x-brace. its may be a bit better for autocross because most of those are in parking lots where the pavement is not really as smooth as a track.

other than that the front upper tower bar doesnt really do much. S comes stock with rear upper tower brace and lower tie bar

I have a 4point strut brace, the one that connects to the bottom and top... I felt a difference, not sure what the difference was though.

How about that Cusco floor bar? Would that stiffen the chassis noticably?
