I went over to the Honda dealer to see if I could upgrade to the new keys with the S2000 logo. The guy said that the key wouldn't work unless the ignition was upgraded as well. How hard is this to change out and is it as expensive as the dealer led me to believe. I didnt get a quote but the guy said it would be pricey. This is probably a useless mod but I am interested to see what it involves. Thanks.

 

 

 

yeah, it's a very expensive thing to do because of the immobilizer system in our cars.

 

Thanks...Ya, I'd rather spend the bucks gears or an intake. If it were around 100 I'd do it but having a new key isnt worth a grand.
