Changing Headlight Diffusers
Hello everyone -
I need to take apart my headlights to clean the inside of the lens. I changed it a long time ago to a smoked diffuser, and some dust got in. It's finally to the point where I want to take it apart again to clean, and reseal.
Does anybody remember what temperature and how low to set them in the oven for?
TIA!

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think there is some kind of coating on the inside of the outer headlamp assembly lens. It seems to scratch really easily (it did on my car when I accidently dropped a turn signal bulb inside my cleared no-diffuser housing), so be careful if you want to 'clean it'. I have no idea what the purpose of this coating is, but it seems to be a usual thing in case of plastic lenses for headlamps.
