honda has never made a v8, let alone a production v10. i doubt it will happen, but hope it does.
This is coming from the CEO - I'd be surprised if he wasn't speaking their true intentions. This is a Japanese company, but in the climate of Sarb/Ox, CEO's are going to jail for misleading investors - I doubt he'd risk it over a stupid engine issue.

I'm waiting to see what happens as well. I was sad the HSC didn't become a reality.

I really dont think saying that Honda plans to make a V10, exotic, low volume, low revenue, sports car, and then not following up on that promise would be considered misleading the investors. More like misleading the enthusiasts. Its hard to say how serious he is, and even if he is completely serious now who knows what will happen over the next 3 to 4 years.

While Honda has built larger racing engines, it still seems a bit out of character for Honda to build a car with such a large engine. I have always thought of Honda as a company that can get big engine performance out of smaller engines. How about a 600hp 9000rpm V10!!??
Honda had a V8 engine with 590hp and 3XX tq. I posted the link here before but can't find it at the moment. I'm looking forward to what that V10 is capable of.
